Job Description

The Salesforce Developer III is responsible for the technical delivery of custom development, integrations, implementation, and data migration elements on the Salesforce Platform.

Essential Functions:

• Support business campaign journey execution via Marketing Cloud (MC)
• Support DE (data extension) configuration and utilization of Automation Studio/Email Studio/Content Builder/Journey Builder
• Act as Marketing Cloud system administrator
• Define new development requirements and enhancements via business communication
• Debug system issues for applications in our Salesforce instance and provide root cause analysis
• Build Salesforce reports and dashboards
• Support advanced segmentation for campaign channels Email/SMS/Postal mail
• Adhere to Salesforce best practices, maintain code documentation, and write/maintain test classes for all custom development
• Take ownership of release cycles to implement and deploy new updates and changes
• Collaborate with other developers for system integrations across the business
• Coordinate with offshore 3rd level development team

Basic Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
• At least 3 years of hands-on development experience on the Salesforce platform
• At least 2 years of experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Campaign Planning, Execution, Tracking)
• Experience with Telematics Proactive Email/Text messaging
• Knowledge of source code management, version control, and deployment standards
• Proficiency in SQL and customer data segmentation
• Understanding of system integration and asynchronous capabilities
• Familiarity with Salesforce products including Lightning, Service, Marketing, and Community Clouds
• Ability to design scalable solutions considering platform architecture
• Knowledge of data sharing, visibility, and security considerations
• Experience with authentication patterns such as SAML, SSO, OAuth
• Experience with data integration tools and Salesforce integrations with other systems
• Proficiency in managing Salesforce profiles, roles, and access controls
• Knowledge of platform security protocols (TLS, SSL)
• Active Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Administrator certification

Nice to have:

• Experience with Heroku, Salesforce CRM Analytics (Einstein Analytics), Tableau KPI Reports
• Experience in the Automotive Industry and understanding of Customer/Prospect Campaign Programs
