Customer Service Ambassador is responsible for educating and creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers and clients visiting Lambert International Airport in Saint Louis MO. Ambassadors will provide excellent customer service, to include greeting guest who visit the Information Booth or have questions at the airport, answering inbound calls, responding to inquiries, resolving complaints, troubleshooting any issues that are reported, and providing accurate information. This is a full-time, on-site position and pays $20.00 per hour and reports directly to Hudson’s Customer Service Manager. Principal Job Duties: Greet customers in a friendly manner, is responsive and timely with correspondence and problem resolution, and display a caring attitude while working with guest. Follow communication procedures, guidelines, scripts, and policies Promote good customer relations by consistently providing premier customer service with a friendly demeanor, can-do attitude, and willingness to always help. Adhere to standard responses when making and receiving calls and addressing routine inquiries. Stay current on any airport information that may need to be relayed to customers. Respond in a timely manner to all requests received in the email account. Other related duties as assigned. Complete all required paperwork and reports accurately. Keep accurate records and document customer service actions and discussion. Job Requirements Education and Experience: High School Diploma or its equivalency Professional experience in customer service 1-year customer service experience Multi-lingual skills a plus Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook. T echnical Skills: Ability to communicate professionally and effectively Strong time management and organizational skills Computer knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft Windows and the ability to grasp customer service application (with training). Great communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to liaise at multiple levels Ability to multi-task and prioritize High level of accuracy Ability to relate well with others and work in a team environment Ability to work under pressure when required Physical Requirements: Physical requirements include occasional lifting/carrying 25 pounds; visual acuity, speech, and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate office systems and equipment.
