Commercial Cleaners Needed

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Barrer or vacuum and/or mop hard surface floors and carpets.

Clean work surfaces, other furniture, and horizontal and vertical surfaces.

Clean walls, doors, wall decorations, baseboards, etc.

Clean bathrooms, including toilets, urinals, partitions, sinks, counters, mirrors, floors, and walls.

Replenish supplies in bathrooms, break rooms, and kitchens.

Clean entrance and other interior glass.

Remove trash from containers and replace broken or dirty bags.

Report to the supervisor about building maintenance issues and equipment.

Arrive on time at work (client location), perform services according to established standards, and ensure that the client's facilities are locked and secured when you finish and leave.

Respond positively and promptly to client work orders.

Comply with all safety policies and procedures related to task performance, use of products or supplies, and notification of incidents.

Detail-oriented: pay attention to details in each client location, paying special attention to special requests.

Friendly and professional: able to deal with clients when they are on-site while cleaning is being performed.

Teamwork: ability to work in a team where members depend on each other to complete the work.

Self-starter: able to identify the work to be done and do it without needing to be told.

Self-motivated: desire to learn, seek new challenges, and take on additional responsibilities.

Efficiency: ability to find the best and fastest way to do the work without compromising quality.

Education, Certifications, and/or Experience

High school diploma preferred, but not required.

Any type of cleaning experience required.

Language Skills

Ability to speak and write in English or Spanish fluently and convey information between the team, clients, and office staff.

Work Environment

Physical demands include walking and standing, climbing, bending, kneeling, pushing and pulling objects, lifting and moving objects, repetitive bending and lifting, and repetitive arm movements.

Travel required to/from client location.

Uniforms must be worn during work hours.

Compensation: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
