Job Summary: A Cell Phone Repair Technician will play a crucial role in diagnosing and repairing a variety of mobile devices, ensuring they function optimally. Expertise in mobile device repair and commitment to customer satisfaction will be key to success.

Cell Phone Repair Technician Duties and Responsibilities

  • Diagnosis and troubleshooting mobile devices to identify hardware and software issues
  • Use diagnostic tools and software to accurately pinpoint problems
  • Replace or repair damaged components, including screens, batteries, charging ports, and buttons
  • Clean and remove dust, debris, or moisture affecting device performance
  • Skillfully disassemble and reassemble mobile devices, avoiding damage
  • Conduct soldering or micro-soldering to repair small components on circuit boards
  • Retrieve data from malfunctioning or damaged devices, including photos, contacts, and files
  • Thoroughly test repaired devices to ensure all functions work correctly
