What We Need

We seek a dynamic Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to build and lead a top-tier marketing organization. Reporting directly to the CEO , you will leverage your strategic mindset and data-driven insights to craft high-impact initiatives. Youll shape, implement, and optimize go-to-market strategies and brand activation to drive measurable growth.

What Youll Do

• Own the overarching marketing vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with Arootahs broader business goals
• Oversee the development and execution of go-to-market plans for multiple business lines, products, and services
• Inspire a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with executive leadership, leveraging your expertise to strengthen Arootahs market position and brand recognition

What Were Looking For

• Education: Bachelors in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field; Masters preferred
• Experience: 12+ years in marketing with progressive leadership roles, at least 5 years managing teams at the Director level or above (CMO, SVP, or equivalent), B2B and/or B2C marketing experience targeting alternative investment managers, family offices, or investment-focused audiences, demonstrated success in the alternative investments, coaching, or wellness sector is a plus, hands-on experience with analytics and ad platforms (Google Analytics, Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Facebook Ads Manager), strong knowledge of CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce)

This is a remote position (though we expect this person to be based in the NYC Metro area), and we are a fully remote organization at present other than meetings in NYC and seminars and various events/networking opportunities that are done in NYC and elsewhere. However, we are in the process of establishing a physical office space in NYC to promote collaboration, cultural enhancement, and client-facing opportunities. While we recognize that there are major pros to remote work, we also recognize the value of in-person connection and are embracing a hybrid approach for those who we feel it makes the best sense for in the organization. Our goal is to create an environment that best supports our mission that will include both remote excellence and meaningful in-person engagement.

Estimated Compensation: $200,000 $250,000 base salary + performance-based incentives + participation in our Revenue Sharing & Equity Plan (RSEP)a unique wealth-building program that offers revenue-sharing distributions and equity participation, aligning incentives and enabling all employees to share in the companys ongoing success and potential future liquidity events.
