LHH is seeking a direct hire EHS Manager to sit on client site in Brea, CA.
This role can pay between $70,000-$80,000 depending on experience.
This person must come from Health and Wellness and/or Supplements.
FDA knowledge and GMP is required
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead regulatory compliance efforts for FDA/USDA/CFIA labeling of imported products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the U.S. and internationally.
- Oversee labeling processes, including Nutrient Fact Panels and ingredient statements.
- Ensure marketing and sales claims comply with regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of ingredients and nutritional values.
- Support the research and development of new products to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Drive continuous improvement in regulatory processes and training.
- Monitor changes in regulations and update internal processes accordingly.
- Prepare and submit regulatory documentation as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in food regulatory compliance or a related area.
- Strong understanding of FDA, USDA, and CFIA regulations.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
