Join our dynamic team as a Full-Time Retail Store Associate! In this role, you will play a key part in creating a delightful shopping experience for our customers while maintaining the store’s appearance. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, operating the cash register, and ensuring cleanliness throughout the store. Position Type: Full-Time Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour Wage Increases: Year 2 - $18.50 Year 3 - $19.00 Year 4 - $19.00 Year 5 - $20.00 Your Responsibilities Include: Providing exceptional customer service and assistance during the shopping experience. Processing customer purchases and ensuring the sales area is tidy and welcoming. Collaborating effectively with team members and clearly communicating with store management. Offering constructive feedback on products, inventory, and any operational issues. Participating in inventory counts and maintaining accurate inventory levels. Adhering to cash handling policies to prevent losses. Complying with established company policies regarding security and document confidentiality. Performing other related tasks as assigned. Physical Requirements: Ability to stock merchandise, lifting products weighing up to 45 pounds. Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the store. Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to operate a cash register accurately. Ability to use store equipment, including hand jacks and floor scrubbers. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work both independently and within a team environment. Must meet local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages. Preferred Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience in a retail environment is preferred.
