Gastroenterology Northern West Virginia

• Employed practice seeks BC/BE Gastroenterologist to join their team of 5 physicians and 3 APPs. Group is adding another APP
• Base salary: $500,000 $600,000 commensurate with experience plus productivity bonus
• Three physicians in practice do ERCP and one other performs advanced procedures
• Both general and advanced Gastroenterologists are encouraged to apply. Able to start with about 25% advanced cases to start with a max of approximately 35-40%
• 6,000 sq ft clinic was recently renovated, contains 13 exam rooms, and is attached to the hospital
• Block scheduled procedures two days per week
• Patient census:
• Average clinic day 24 patients
• Average procedure day (2 days per week) = 15 procedures
• Average inpatient census 20-30, including new consults with an APP to assist
• Call:
• Inpatient: day call rotated weekly during week on inpatient, there are no clinical responsibilities. APP support offered during inpatient week
• Outpatient: rotated equally amongst physicians in group
• EMR: EPIC in both clinic and hospital
• Very strong administrative support
• Hospital has a Family Medicine residency program allowing participation in grand rounds and lectures, if desired

• Located just under 2 hours from Pittsburgh and within easy driving distance to many Mid-Atlantic and Midwestern cities
• H1B cap exempt and J1 visa sponsorship offered for 2025 graduates
