Overview

This job posting is for a position in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee and not McDonalds USA. This franchisee owns a license to use McDonalds logos and food products for the restaurant, but the franchisee is a separate employer from McDonalds USA. If you are hired for the job described in this posting, the franchisee will be your employer, not McDonalds USA. The franchisee is responsible for employment matters at the restaurant, including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling. McDonalds USA has no control over employment matters at the restaurant and will not receive a copy of your employment application or participate in employment decisions.

Role: General Manager at a McDonalds corporate-owned restaurant (franchisee-operated). This posting reflects opportunities, responsibilities, and benefits associated with the franchisees employment terms.

Responsibilities

• Run a profitable restaurant and ensure the restaurant meets McDonalds Quality, Service, and Cleanliness standards.
• Set restaurant goals with leadership and develop plans to achieve them.
• Lead a team of Department Managers, support their goal-setting, monitor progress, and provide coaching and direction to improve departments.
• Hire and develop Department and Shift Managers to ensure the restaurant has a capable team for the future.

Qualifications

• Previous General Manager experience managing high-volume locations.
• Background in quick-service restaurants strongly desired; experience in hospitality or retail also relevant.
• Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our corporate-owned and operated restaurants.
