Zinus is seeking a detail-oriented, analytically curious marketer to join our team as a Marketing Specialist. This is an excellent role for someone ready to learn the cross-functional and global aspects of marketing by owning the day-to-day details, with exposure to key teams and the overall business strategy. You will be asked to collaborate with internal teams as well as external agency partners to guide and deliver initiatives and activities including event activation, influencer and social media content, trademark management, product reviews/syndication and consumer research.

The Marketing Specialist will report directly to the Director of Marketing but will build day-to-day working relationships at all levels, both within the marketing team and with cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities:

• Lead specific day to day activities on behalf of the U.S. marketing team
• Assist in the execution of defined marketing plans that support all team goals
• Manage product sampling and review syndication requests for new and existing products
• Track and report on marketing programs such as trademark portfolio management and other brand initiatives
• Assist with planning trade shows and event activation, such as Las Vegas Market
• Assist with social media and influencer marketing programs
• Learn the ins and outs of consumer research; brief our external partner accordingly
• Other responsibilities as needed

About You:

• You are a confident and driven marketing associate with 1-3 years of prior work experience via internships, corporate marketing or creative agency environment
• You are proactive and detail-oriented, and take pride in being so
• You are a critical thinker with a natural propensity for problem solving with the ability to think creatively and innovatively
• You have a BA/BS degree with strong academic credentials
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• You have some experience with analytics and data insights, and are eager to learn more
• eCommerce or CPG consumer marketing experience a plus
