Position Summary:
We are seeking a part-time Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join its dedicated Nephrology team. This role is ideal for a compassionate and driven clinician who is fluent in Mandarin or Cantonese and eager to provide top-notch patient care. The PA/NP will work under physician supervision, performing physical exams, interpreting lab tests, overseeing patient health, and educating patients about their conditions. This position offers an excellent opportunity for career growth in a supportive and dynamic medical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the physician in diagnosing medical conditions, developing treatment plans, and prescribing medications.
Provide patient education on diseases, treatment options, and preventive care.
Support out-patient dialysis rounds and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures.
Maintain accurate patient records, including assessments, interventions, and evaluations.
Educate patients and their families on health management and chronic disease care.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and uphold the highest ethical standards.
Required Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited PA/NP program.
Active Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) certification.
State of New York licensure (PA or NP).
Strong medical knowledge, clinical expertise, and ethical practice.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Schedule & Work Hours:
Part-time role (2-3 days per week).
Must be available for at least one Monday, Wednesday, or Friday, and one Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday.
Shift hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (including 60-minute unpaid meal break).
Guaranteed 16 hours per week.
