I’m partnering with a fast-growing startup in New York that’s building something truly exciting in the music tech space. Their app already has over 400,000 daily active users, and they’re entering their next big phase of growth.

They’re now looking for their first product design hire — someone who can take full ownership of the design function, help shape the product experience, and eventually build and lead a design team. If you're experienced in early-stage startups, thrive in fast-paced environments, and have a passion for music and technology, this could be a fantastic fit.

About the company:

• Early-stage, well-funded startup with strong user traction
• Building a platform at the intersection of music, culture, and technology
• Tight-knit team of creative, ambitious builders
• Based in New York (hybrid setup – 3 days a week onsite)

What they’re looking for:

• 3–6+ years of product design experience, ideally in early-stage or high-growth startups
• Background in music tech or a genuine passion for music
• Comfortable working across the entire design process — from UX strategy to polished UI
• Portfolio that demonstrates strong product thinking and clean, user-centered design
• Confident collaborating with founders, engineers, and product leads
• Bonus if you’ve worked on audio tools, creator platforms, or social features
