Responsibilities The Program Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all operations for maintenance services, custodial, and grounds keeping at the Panama City Campus. This position reports to the FSU PC Director of the Finance and Administration Department. Initiate bids and coordinate services with contractors in conjunction with all construction projects. Monitor project timelines and expenditures and maintain site plans for buildings and grounds. Develop, recommend, and review policies and procedures relating to services and functions in crafts and labor operations. (This includes knowledge of University, State, and Federal policies and directives dealing with environmental issues, fair labor standards, hazardous materials, and building codes for all skill operations). Monitors the operational areas to ensure compliance with safety-related matters, budget and fiscal planning and management, human resources management, and other areas related to the department's overall mission. Have regular contact with University officials, various levels of University administration, and instructional staff, and community and state enforcement agencies. Respond to emergency situations on campus. Identify and prioritize budget requirements for the annual budget. Monitor purchasing with administrative support. Supervise USPS and OPS staff, including grounds, housekeeping, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and building maintenance. Qualifications Bachelor's degree and four years experience related to facilities and/or grounds services or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to eight years. A valid State of Florida or Georgia Driver’s License or the ability to obtain prior to hire. Preferred Qualifications Registered Contractor or license in any specific area: Air Conditioning, mechanical, alarm systems, buildings, plumbing, electrical, general, and roofing.
