Join our dynamic team as a Retail Associate, enhancing the customer shopping experience in a collaborative environment. Position Type: Part-Time Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour Wage Increases: Year 2 - $18.00, Year 3 - $18.50, Year 4 - $18.50, Year 5 - $19.50 Duties and Responsibilities: Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information to your leader.
• Uphold the security and confidentiality of documents and data within your area of responsibility.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Cashier Responsibilities:

• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and stock shelves and merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers with their shopping experience.
• Share feedback with management regarding products, inventory losses, scanning errors, and other general issues.
• Participate in store inventory counts following guidelines for accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.

Stocker Responsibilities:

• Stock shelves and rotate products properly to ensure customers receive fresh options.
• Follow merchandising planograms to create appealing displays.
• Organize new inventory and manage empty boxes appropriately.
• Operate machinery and follow all safety protocols.

Physical Demands:

• Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the store.
• Stockers must be able to store merchandise from receiving to shelving and place products weighing up to 45 pounds on shelves at various heights.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Capability to perform cleaning duties to company standards.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Effective time management skills.
• Knowledge of company products and services.

Additional Skills:

• Cashiers must efficiently and accurately operate a cash register.
• Comply with state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.
• Stockers must be able to safely operate equipment like electric/manual hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and cardboard balers.
• Morning availability is required for Stockers, with shifts starting as early as 5:00 a.m.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience is preferred.
• A combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge is acceptable.
