Master’s degree in School Counseling, Counseling or a related field, active School Counselor license and 1+ years School Counselor experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity seeks a School Counselor dedicated to supporting K-12 students emotional, social, and academic growth within a nurturing and student-centered school environment in Hogeland, Montana. The position spans the full 2025-2026 academic year on a per diem basis (approximately 4 days per month), offering a chance to positively influence students lives through individualized guidance and collaborative teamwork with educators and families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling addressing academic, career, and social-emotional needs
• Develop and implement interventions to assist students facing personal or academic challenges
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to foster a supportive learning atmosphere
• Conduct student assessments and coordinate referrals to mental health and social services
• Facilitate workshops on topics such as conflict resolution, study skills, and college/career readiness
• Advocate for student well-being through personalized counseling strategies

Qualifications and Experience:

• Masters degree in psychology, education, counseling, social work, or related field (required)
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Genuine passion for student success and mental health support
• Ability to work on-site in Hogeland, MT for the duration of the contract
