Job Description:
As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), you will be responsible for developing creative solutions to improve the reliability, performance, and scalability of high-availability customer-facing applications. You will work with cloud technologies, CI/CD tools, monitoring solutions, and automation frameworks to ensure system stability and efficiency. The role requires a strong understanding of DevOps principles and the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement solutions to improve system reliability and reduce operational toil
• Develop automation scripts and self-healing solutions for 24x7 application availability
• Monitor system performance, detect anomalies, and optimize infrastructure
• Troubleshoot complex issues across integrated platforms
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for efficient software deployment
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure operational best practices
• Work with cloud platforms like PCF and GCP to enhance infrastructure scalability
• Manage Akamai Delivery and Certificate Management solutions
• Ensure best practices in API monitoring using tools like Splunk and AppDynamics
• Advocate for DevOps principles and drive automation initiatives

Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:

• 6-8 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or DevOps
• Hands-on experience with cloud services such as PCF and GCP
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools (Harness preferred)
• Strong experience with monitoring and logging tools (Splunk, AppDynamics)
• Expertise in scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $40.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
