As a Unarmed Security Officer - Manufacturing Site in Kings Mountain, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas within a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents as you conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible throughout your shift. You will play an important role in maintaining a secure environment by observing activities, reporting any concerns, and responding to situations as needed. In addition to your patrol duties, you will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication to everyone you encounter, contributing to a positive atmosphere. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards found during patrols within the facility.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with client representatives, visitors, and Allied Universal management.
  • Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site policies.
  • Assist with incident documentation and reporting according to established protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
